We have almost been married a whole year, on June 30th. I can hardly believe it has been that long already, and we are still in one piece! What do ya know, maybe we aren't so bad at this marriage thing after all? Can't wait to go back to our honeymoon 'spot' and celebrate our anniversary this year! Looking forward to all the years to come, and whatever they may bring :)
Our family has grown since moving here, we now have 3 pups running this household.... we have our babies Logan and Riley, of course, but this year God brought us a little gift. We were driving home from Lombard and saw a dog dodging traffic on a busy road, when calling the police to tell them, they asked if she was dead, as she had been dodging traffic for 6 hours (or that is how long they had gotten calls). We got her checked out, with no intent of keeping her, however in the 7 hour wait in the vet clinic, she grew on us. When the vet said she would likely be put to sleep if turned over to animal control (due to her old age), we couldn't let that happen. We got in contact with her owner, over time, and he expressed that he didn't want her back. We don't understand, as she is the most amazingly sweet girl! I guess she was in need of love and we were just the people to provide it, even if three is a little bit of a crowd!
